COVID rules/guidelines

1: We are operating our usual 24hr cancellation policy and the usual 24hrs Cancellation Policy does apply, you will be charged for cancelling your lesson if it is less than 24hrs notice.

 

2: You must self isolate for 14 days and will not be able to take your next driving lesson or your driving test with your driving instructor for the next 14 days from the date of cancellation ( not from the date of the initial symptoms )

 

3: All cancellations not from COVID require a minimum 24hrs notice and you will be charged in full and obligated to pay in full if your cancellation is less than 24hrs notice.

 

4: If you have just arrived in England from overseas travel you should not take a driving lesson until 7 days have passed since your return to the UK. ( Unless you can confirm you have had a negative lateral flow COVID-19 test upon landing in England )

 

5: If you have had the Vaccine and display COVID symptoms, you should not take a driving lesson with your driving instructor for 14 days.

 

6: You should not take a driving lesson for at least 3 days from the date of your COVID vaccination.

7: If someone in your household has COVID-19 or if you have been in immediate contact with anyone infected with the virus, you must not take your driving lesson and you should self isolate for 14 days.

 

8: The most recent COVID guidelines from the Government, it is no longer mandatory for pupils or instructors to wear a face mask during your driving lesson or at your driving test..

 

9: Your Elevate driving instructor retains the right to refuse to allow you access to enter their car if you choose to not wear a mask during your driving lesson and you may still be charged for the lesson.

 

10: Medically exempt pupils who supply proof of exemption do not have to wear a mask in car during your driving lesson, however, if your driving instructor is ‘High Risk’ they may refuse to allow you to have your driving lesson and you will be charged in full for the lesson. ( best to bring a mask to your driving lesson just in case or ask your driving instructor if they prefer lessons with a mask )
